With bankruptcy filings at record numbers, many attorneys have added bankruptcy to their practice. The tasks to get started can seem daunting. Add to that the need to find a skilled bankruptcy assistant but not the production to justify the expense of hiring staff.

Accurate Bankruptcy Petitions was founded by Louise Hurwitz in 2008 to fulfill that need.

Louise draws on ten plus years experience working with clients in small to large firms, gathering and reviewing income, asset and credit documents and evaluating their financial picture. She takes pride in her attention to detail and ability to work effectively with clients.

Through completion of extensive training through 713 Training and King Bankruptcy Academy, and experience drafting petitions, she has proven her competence and earned the designation Certified VBA.

Louise is an active and contributing member of the National Society of Virtual Bankruptcy Assistants (NSVBA). She mentors new VBA's and advises those interested in getting started in this exciting field. She hosted a weekly VBA teleconference until her workload forced her to put it on hiatus. She hopes she can restart the calls soon.

Licensed as a Florida Real Estate Salesperson and Florida Life, Health and Variable Annuity Agent, the knowledge she gained through holding these licenses, and ten years as a mortgage loan processor and underwriter, is invaluable in the bankruptcy arena.

She is an active member of Women of Note Chorus and Harmony Street Quartet and volunteers as a Big Sister for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Martin County.
